Most home practices fail because they are too ambitious. Ten minutes, same time, same corner, is the version that survives a busy week.
Pick the time before the pose
Decide when, not what. The sequence can change every day; the slot cannot. Tie it to something that already happens, the kettle, the school run, the moment you close the laptop, and the practice borrows that habit's reliability.
Keep the mat out
A rolled mat in a cupboard is a decision you have to make every day. A mat on the floor is furniture. If space is tight, a folded blanket in the same corner does the same job.
Ten minutes, not thirty
Three sun salutations, one standing pose on each side, a forward fold and two minutes lying still. That is the whole thing. On a good day you will want more and you can have it; on a bad day you will still have done it, which is the point.
After a month, look back. Not at how bendy you are, but at how many days you showed up. That number is the practice.
