How they teach
Nina studied in Mysore and brings a precise, patient eye to every practice. She will let you stay in a posture longer than you planned.
She has practised the Ashtanga primary series six mornings a week for over a decade, first under a teacher in Amsterdam and later during three long stays in India. She teaches it in a led format at the studio, counting the breath, and adds postures to your practice only when the body is ready, never before.
Her Yin classes are the counterweight: eight shapes, long silences and a teacher who says very little on purpose. Students who come for both often describe them as two halves of the same practice.
Nina also runs the backbend and arm balance workshops, where the drills nobody teaches in a regular class finally get their hour.
